Default WADA is corrupt

So how come Vandenbroucke only got a 6 month suspension for EPO?

Answer: Because the corrupt Belgian cycling federation sympathized with
him and gave him the minimum suspension which does not comport with WADA
rules.

Had his case come before USADA, he would have been suspended for 2 years
- just like Adham Sbeih was for EPO (note: possession of EPO under the
WADA code is the same as taking it).

Somebody needs to ask WADA how come foreign cyclists get to have their
doping cases decided by corrupt national federations which bend over
backwards to favor their cycling stars, while U.S. cyclists have their
cases handled by an independent agency that cuts no corners, USADA.

The same thing happened with Anna Millward - her Aussie federation swept
her use of lidocaine under the rug by claiming it was for mosquitoes and
her doctor's fault. That defense would not fly before USADA or CAS in a
strict liability system whereby athletes and athletes alone are
responsible for what enters their body.

The UCI failed to appeal Millward's case to the CAS, which is bull****.

Can you imagine all the Euro riders who would jump at the chance to
claim their doctors are at fault if it were to get them exonerated for
testing positive for a banned substance? Since WADA has no jurisdiction
over doctors that's a no-fault system, which is quite different than a
strict liability system.

So if you know it, then why do you and other licensed cyclists continue
to pay USAC license fees, which are partly used to re-hire WADA every
year to adjudicate cycling doping cases?

Can you explain that?

Thanks,

Magilla

Well that is exactly why we need higher taxes and more guvmint.

If guvmint gives gifts it should not, then the solution is always make
it more powerful, so that it is capable of giving more gifts.

Of course!

Watch out, you might just find Pound-Gripper joining your
band of happy primates demanding food and their afternoon
training ride.

By all means tell us these senators that are owned by Exxon and how they
managed that.

Of course, it isn't just intellectuals. Take T.P., for example.

Because by letting him ride, VDB is a walking (riding) doping
deterrent. Guys look at him and think ... if that's what doping does
to you, count me out.

Well they should anyway.
