Forte Gotham tire = Panaracer Crosstown = $10 currently
If anyone needs Marathon type tires without the marathon price for
their urban or touring steed, Performance has these on sale now for $10. They are the Panaracers rebranded for a third of the price. 26" and 700x35, the latter being a stately 700g of urban protection. |

I am surprised a tire was named after a small town in Wisconsin: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Gotham&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=32.197599,86.660156&ie=UTF8&ll=43.2 23785,-90.291567&spn=0.007224,0.021157&z=16&g=Gotham&iwlo c=addr. -- Tom Sherman - 42.435731,-83.985007 If you are not a part of the solution, you are a part of the precipitate. |

Sure; Gotham, Five Points, Blue River. Nice cycling area around Richland Center. -- Andrew Muzi www.yellowjersey.org/ Open every day since 1 April, 1971 ** Posted from http://www.teranews.com ** |

I picked up a pair of these this afternoon, be warned that although the pic on the site depicts a reflective sidewall, it's not mentioned in the product description, and the ones I got did not have one. Still, ten bucks! Nine, after I use my Team Performance points this spring. Thanks for the tip, LO! |

Indeed, no reflective sidewall on these--that's just the rim in the pic. |

Sure; Gotham, Five Points, Blue River. Nice cycling area around Richland Center. It really bugs me when people mispronounce Gotham with a "short o". I used to ride that area in the 1980's on a Peugeot P-8 [1]. Forgot the name of the shop it came from, but it had a yellow cow on bicycle wheels as a logo.
