How do you lock up your bike?
Depending on the bike-crime rate of the area you're locking it in, don't
spare less than what is needed on locks, and be sure it is locked in a place where it can be seen. Not where thieves can work in private. If you can, leave the heaviest locks locked to the post/rack/whatever you're locking it too. That way you won't have to lug them more than once or twice. Also, if you get there and they're missing, take that as a hint that the spot you chose is NOT safe. Building managers will always ask you (or leave a note) to remove the locks before going to the trouble of doing so themselves. - - "May you have the wind at your back.
