Don't exactly count Phatty out yet.

Davey has twice analysed the situation in this NewsGroup and in
any case, has not held a UCI Affiliate license since 2005,
prefering to use a UFOLEP license, so he really doesn't care who
heads up the UCI.


But if you have a little spare time, check the UCI rules to see
who can vote and the number of delegates from each region and
assess what you feel the outcome might be.

Start reading at Article 23 of the Constitution and the Delegates
are enumerated at Article 36 (If memory serves correctly)

It might not get as far as a vote, he's reliant on the Thai and Moroccan
federations backing for his candidacy which could very well not be
validated. If that happens he's history. I've got the champers on ice
already.
