Default Happy Easter!

I got PCV pipe glue spots on my TerraTrike frame yesterday; I hope no
one mistakes it for a spotty easter egg!

Any suggestions how to get that dried glue off that TT yellow powder
coat without ruining the appearance?

Thanks!

Ouch. That's a tough one. Those purple spots are very hard to remove (which
is why you have to be vewwy caweful...)

Epoxy powder coat is fairly impervious to most ordinary solvents. However,
PVC glue is composed of solvents that are found in paint strippers. The
reason the purple spots are so hard to remove is that they are welded to the
paint chemically. Remove the spots, and you remove the paint.

I'd try some ultra-fine sandpaper or 000 steel wool and see if it will come
off that way.

Methyl Ethyl Keytone (MEK)?. Test small area first. IIRC MEK is the main
ingredient listed in PVC pipe cement.
