I was looking to find out more on the bike I had seen over the weekend
but the site, and this further link;

http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/urban/

don't load on my system.

Perhaps it's a Firefox browser thing.

Web site errors are no longer remarkable. Waterford was down
last week, today is Trek's turn.

This loads:
http://store.trekbikes.com/

I posted that same link last week in a discussion here, it worked fine
on IE6 (yes, really) but not on the latest Firefox for Linux. They
must be using some awful MS-specific HTML...

Works on the latest Firefox and Chrome here running on a Karmic Koala.
The bike pictured is a total shark jumper.

Did *not* work for me on 2x machines running Lucid... I believe if
you're getting your Firefox from the official repositories it's
2.something on Karmic and 3.something on Lucid (outdated software in
the official repos was the main reason that I switched to Lucid early;
it's still got serious issues with Intel video)

BTW I dig the old school Trek decals on the Bellville... would love
to find an older Trek touring bike just so I could rock those decals.
Rest of the bike... meh. Looks cool until you look at the bars/stem/
steerer/front of top tube area, then it all goes to heck in a
handbasket aesthetically.

Works on Firefox à la FreeBSD too. Imagine that...

3.5.9 Firefox. Just enable backports. I tried Lucid--it indeed sucks
with Intel chips.

Ff 3.6.3 on Constantine/Fedora12 is just fine also.
