Are you sure it's a Peugeot, and not another bike with Peugeot
stickers? ISTR there was a manufacturer called Rotary, but I can't
find any reference to it - possibly it was badge-engineered for a
catalogue or retail chain. The spec certainly sounds Peugeot, but I
suppose that could apply equally to any of the French manufacturers.

Rotary were an economy brand. I don't remember who sold them, but they were
the first bikes I remember in the UK to be sold in a semi-assembled
condition. They came in a heat-welded plastic bag, with the wheels and
pedals removed, the handles turned, and the saddle pushed right down. My
brother bought himself one after he managed to get his and my bikes
stolen.Thankfully he didn't buy me one.

hi rob
thanks for writing.i typed in puegot rotary and found a similar bike
on ebay,a racer, mine has mudguard eyes and the forks are not so steep
and longer wheelbase.it looks about 20 years old as huret dont make
gears now.i have weinmann sidepull brakes, rigida rims.someone has
fitted racing pedals and toe clips.there is a puegot badge on mine,it
says, made in france and cycles puegot at bottom of the badge.maybe
puegot made these models for rotary, ill have to find out more.thank
you so much for your help.the bike on ebay looks quite a recent model.
have a nice weekend
