Just another of Everyone.net's cover 'free' emailers

In this case, www.al-qods.com defers to http://www.al-islami.com/. Click on "free email" and then go to the bottom of that page and click on Terms of Service - goes straight to Everyone.net as in most cases. Actually here's a bigger secret, that email address can be bogus. Take a look at the From on this one and you'll see that it's a (presently) non-existant domain (.uucp). Something more useful is in the headers. Google embeds various information including the following little gem: NNTP-Posting-Host: 67.219.173.26 Which translates into: 1cust26.tnt1.covina.ca.da.uu.net So it's more than likely that the about loser is from Corvina, Toronto, Canada. The user also belongs to UUNET. -- Linux Home Automation Neil Cherry http://home.comcast.net/~ncherry/ (Text only) http://hcs.sourceforge.net/ (HCS II) http://linuxha.blogspot.com/ My HA Blog |
