Madonna del Ghisallo
If you haven't been there the experience is incredible. Dede's pics
really don't do justice to it.: http://www.velonews.com/diaries/ride...es/8102.0.html It really is an amazing place if you care about the history of our sport. Here's another take: http://www-math.science.unitn.it/Bik..._Ghisallo.html Bill C |

Here's another take: http://www-math.science.unitn.it/Bik..._Ghisallo.html Bill C I can't remember where, maybe on Cyclingnews.com, i saw a whole bunch of photos taken there. It's quite amazing, medals, bikes, jerseys; Pantani's yelllow and pink jerseys, bugnos WC jerseys, Casartellis Olympic jersey. And not just italians: Indurain's pink jersey, Eddy Merckxs bikes and jerseys, and pink jerseys worn by nearly everyone- Tony Rominger, Alex Zulle. It's quite a place. I hope to get to see it one day. |
