So what do you think of those bus stops? They look like an accident
waiting to happen to me.

Are Brighton's bus drivers particularly deficient in driving skills or has one, or more, actually killed a man, woman or child on a bicycle by driving into him or her? I believe it would be better all round if a public display was re-enacted with whosoever played the bus-driver played his part in riding the bicycle.

All this ****e does is demonstrate the true belief of the crown and gubermint that killing by the licensed is acceptable. It only needs a pull-in for the buses nd the drivers to pay attention, as they are paid and trusted to do.

This must be the most obvious example of an idiot using a second identity to
ask himself questions.

Default Floating bus stops

It only needs a pull-in for the buses nd the drivers to pay attention, as
they are paid and trusted to do.

The idea is to save the knobheads who make up a significant proportion of the cycling community from themselves as somebody seems to have told them that a flashing amber light on a vehicle means "please pass on this side".

That's strange because in my experience doing everything right on my
bike and clearly indicating my intention to turn right is an invitation
for ****tards like you to continue overtaking me.

The idea

You mean Thing.

is to save the knobheads who make up a significant proportion of the cycling community from themselves as somebody seems to have told them that a flashing amber light on a vehicle means "please pass on this side".

The flashing amber light is merely an indication of intention to move off or out and it is a courtesy that other road users permit stage buses to pull out (so as they may more closely follow their timetable). It is not a right of movement formed by use of a flashing amber light. It may be helpful to also supply the pull-in with a feeder lane so that merging is easier on all.

And, possibly more to the point, the whole reason we don't have proper

pull-in bus stops anymore is because once the bus pulled into them,

the bloody motorists wouldn't let them pull back out.

Even so, the pull-in type stop does work well at traffic signal controlled junctions. This floating stop is possibly so badly sited, that it was obviously intentional so as to disrupt motor traffic.

It's not about the bike!

Maybe they are the ones who gave the cyclists the idea that a flashing

amber light on one side of the vehicle was an invitation to overtake

on that side?
