No helmet or hi-viz, and soon to be no lights!

Obviously a grossly inaccurate portrayal, we all know, even in this
newsgroup oft told, that it impossible for a cyclist to tip over the
handlebars in a collision. This propaganda should be stopped forthwith,
before people start believing it.

Also - I notice that it was produced by RoSPA.

What on earth do *they* know about safety measures??

They will be encouraging people to wear cycle helmets next !!

Dave licks the soles of cyclists shoes when they are not looking.

You naughty little psycholist, you.

You made that up, didn't you?

Yes - that's the point.
Because according to Dave-logic the concept must have been true in order for me to make fun of it.

I've made fun of your cyclist-sniffing habits. Does that mean it exists?

You could of course provide some examples of where people have
claimed here it is impossible to go over the handlebars (if only it
had been said),

I could, if I could be arsed. Trust me, it's been said many times.

Ah, so no evidence, just "Trust me"
Not very convincing.

but instead you continue to make yourself look
foolish. Carry on.

I rather think that's you. Keep digging.

With your "Trust me" and "It must exist for me to make fun of it" you are becoming comical.

No, because you made it up. You are a psycholist, they are well known
for it.

I don't need convincing.

I'm only ever intentionally comical. One of my many talents.

Dave - Cyclists VOR. "Many people barely recognise the bicycle as a
legitimate mode of transport; it is either a toy for children or a
vehicle fit only for the poor and/or strange," Dave Horton, of Lancaster
University, wrote in an interim assessment of the Understanding Walking
and Cycling study. "For them, cycling is a bit embarrassing, they fail
to see its purpose, and have no interest in integrating it into their
lives, certainly on a regular basis."

SIGH

Look, I know you aren't very bright and suffer from OCD, but do you
really think us 'trolls' all got together at some secret location &
decided to make up things to take the **** out of?

I can picture it now;

Dave VOR; OK fellow trolls, I'd like to call this meeting to order. We
are here today to make things up - so we can take the **** at a latter
date. Any suggestions?

Mr Cheerful: I know, I know. Lets pretend someone said cyclists can't
go over the handle bars!

J Nugent; Seconded!

Judith; Lets pretend they claimed push bikes are covered by fridge
freezer insurance!

Mr Benn; Excellent idea!

The truth is, psycholists come up with concepts that are so ridiculous
they are beyond parody.

No Dave, the truth is that these things have not been said.

Easy to prove me wrong - but you can't, can you?

He speaks the truth, I have seen such claims on more than one occasion and
I'm sure others here have as well, indeed you have been told this before.

Because no one is prepared to trawl through the archives for the actual
posts does not automatically make the case that the posts didn't exist,
they do, again as you have been told.

Can you answer the question you conveniently snipped?
