Default Bell, Horn, Chimes ... something

I cycle along the coast in the summer. Since it is so busy, I need some
type of sound to alert people that I am coming. A Bell, A Horn ... or
something.

The problem is my handle-bars are oversize. I ride a Canondale 800 touring
bike.

Where can I find a bell or something that will fit my oversize handlebars.

Use your lungs: Say "beep beep" to the people you're overtaking, or "on
your left" or shout "get the **** out of the way."

There are bells that go into the end of a drop handlebar. I have one
on my tandem. "Incredibell barend".

try a police whistle on a lanyard around your neck. Sometimes people
w/ipods and those preoccupied in discussion need more than a bell to
signal your approach. Whistles work best in traffic too.
