Pedestrian killed in A34 crash may have walked from Oxford

A pedestrian who died after being hit by an ambulance on the A34 may have walked from Oxford city centre. Police have revealed they believe the 35-year-old man may have walked on to the dual carriageway from the city centre before he was involved in the collision with an ambulance . They are now urging drivers to come forward if they have any information or dash cam footage. The incident happened at 3.20am on Friday, November 29 , on the northbound carriageway near the Peartree interchange. The man died at the scene and his next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
