Interesting story today: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...gs-London.html It seems Mr. Cheerful was right about the criminal/cycling connection "The number of thefts carried out by criminals on bicycles has tripled in the past two years, figures show. Statistics from Scotland Yard show there were 3,754 reported snatchings in the capital last year, up from 1,214 thefts in 2010. All these crimes specifically relate to snatches by thieves riding bicycles". Dreadful. Clear case for registration so these crims can be traced. -- Dave-Cyclists VORT Motorists pay £45 billion a year in extra taxes, specifically so they can use the roads. Only £10 billion of this is spent on roads. |
