Default Capitalism is finally collapsing but there's hope

Yes, it is. It's too successful in unleashing GREED AND CORRUPTION and
then it crumbles.

Europe is turning to communism (China) to survive, America is broke,
and the mother of "democracy" and tragedy (Greece) is having a
referendum that could mean the coup de grace to consumerism.

The hope is to increase taxation ONLY after fighting corruption. Drop
the stupid war on drugs and fight corruption instead. Our rampant
waste --visible in SUVs and blinding lighting everywhere-- will go to
fund public transportation and alternative technologies by adding an
ENERGY TAX to reflect environmental damage, obesity, etc, similar to
cigarettes.

Otherwise we can join China which is said to have good public
transportation and protect cyclists. Our financial capital may be in
Beijing, so be it. Learn to eat with chopsticks.

The Chinese are in the process of dismantling their Communism and have
been since the late
1980s.

Only in the economic sense. In politics they are as antidemocratic as
ever. We in America are not pure capitalist either. "Socialism"
extends to many monopolies such as Florida Power & Light.

Social security is very socialist too. So is Medicare.

There we go. We and China may be merging into a hybrid system of
capitalism/communism similar to Yin-Yang. They become more capitalist
and we become more antidemocratic. We do have a formal democracy, but
they know "democracy" offers little risk in Christian hands.

But shouldn't we talking about GOOD SOCIALISM and BAD SOCIALISM? Roads
are socialism too, but around here they are more like anarchism.
Naturally the little fish have no place in it.

Public transport will never work in places like BA.

If it works in Disney why not the rest of America? Their monorail is
great even if short. At least you don't find the homeless in it.

What's that BA?

Broken Arrow. We're too spread out for mass transit to ever work.

That's everywhere in America. That's something EVIL they did so you'd
need a car to get around. The solution is riding bikes to the get the
groceries and to main transportation lines. Yes, THE SOLUTION IS BIKES
& PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

You'd get run over on a bike here in the BA.

Same here. The MACHINE has us in the cage, that's the home and the
car.

And everything is too sprawled out to make public transit viable. My gay
friend Dexter lives out in the country, several miles from town. There's no
way a bus would go that far out. And even here in town, buses wouldn't work
because there would have to be 100 lines to make it efficient. I'll just
stick to driving my fox Mustang.

There are slow bike, fast bikes and electric bikes, which can fly you
over those sprawls. But still the MACHINE can crush you, or it can
grind you. Eventually you give up and become part of the MACHINE too,
which is what our masters want.
