Default Big fine for speeding cyclist

Of course the rich cyclist will just pay it from his daily interest on
his current account.

Clocked by a speed gun at 38mph while riding in Richmond Park

He was charged with speeding and driving without due care on a bicycle.

When he subsequently appeared at Lavender Hill Magistrates on October
10, he was fined £200 for each offence, plus £200 court cost and a £20
victim surcharge.

Will Judge Lee handle the appeal on a pro bono basis?

Well, several issues. One, speed limits do not apply to bicycles.

Two: no they don't apply in Royal Parks, either.

Three : no, they ****ing do not, you ignorant, stubborn runt.

Four, a speed gun requires a frontal area. He was not 'clocked at 38 mph'.

Five, did he plead guilty? What an idiot.

And so on.

Do you find yourself going through life continually getting punched in the
face?
Ever wondered why?

Or do you just confine your oafish behaviour and bravery to when you're
behind a keyboard?

They do in some circumstances.

Two: no they don't apply in Royal Parks, either.

Royal Parks being one of those circumstances.

Common myth.

No, Royal Parks being one of those circumstances where everyone believes
incorrectly that Royal Parks are one of those circumstances where speed
limits apply to bicycles.

The important thing is that the Judges actually know whether the law
applies or not.
