QUOTE:
Trombley said the cyclist was lying in the intersection when authorities
arrived and was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to
Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.
ENDQUOTE

But does he lie anywhere else?

QUOTE:
There was minor damage to the car.
The cyclist was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
This report is based on preliminary information provided by law
enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full
scope of findings.
ENDQUOTE

I understand that "cited" is the USA equivalent of "warned of intended
prosecution, cautioned and asked for an oral statement" in the UK.

I do like the newspaper's disclaimer.

The article said nothing about RLJ for safety.
There is absolutely nothing safe about RLJ.

I have absolutely no ****ing interest in looking good in your eyes.
After all I am a bicyclist and proud of it.
That makes me **** in your eyes.
So here is **** in your eyes.
Especially as you think that RLJ is safe.

Thanks extremely greatly for that compliment from you who defines a
bicyclist as somehow worse than a red light jumper, because the
bicyclist says it is not safe to jump red lights.
I am extremely flattered by that from you.
Now please ejaculate to me the further compliment from you of being
jargon-spouting, censorious, secretive, and aggressive.
After all I ride a bike.
