Another pavement motorist kills, a young child this time.
Luckily no pavement cyclists were involved this time but the threat to
them from motorists is ever present and no pavement is safe. "A four-year-old girl who died after being run over by a car on a driveway in Bedfordshire has been named. Olivia Hicks died after a Ford Focus reversed and trapped her underneath at Coppice Mead in Biggleswade on Monday 20 February. She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge but died on Saturday. An inquest opened and adjourned in Bedford on Tuesday heard that Olivia, of London Road, Biggleswade, had suffered a "catastrophic brain injury". Bedfordshire Police is investigating what happened." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...herts-17193520 -- . A driving licence is sometimes a licence to kill. |

Luckily no pavement cyclists were involved Oh, that's alright then. Never mind the dead child. Not that it was a pavement motorist anyway. Would it be possible to be more off-topic? |
