"'I'm as big a star as Lance,' argues LeMond."

I'm afraid that LeMond's shameless chase for the buck, will stain his
name in American Cycling. I think everyone is fed up with his antics. His
father won't even speak to him, after Greg accused him of taking a couple
twenty's out of his billfold.

After reading the stories about this lawsuit, it's pretty clear that, at
about the time Greg (or his wife, as the case may be) was making his
innuendos about Lance, he clearly had motive to diminish Lance's stature for
his own financial gain.

You trouble me here. I thought you agreed not to make things up.
I recall nothing that Lemond has stated of the type you suggest. Prove me
wrong.
I recall (from Le Monde) that his wife's recollections were of one side of a
conversation, and not her own implications of something Armstrong may or may
not have said.

Please do correct me, with precise statements, of course, shoud I have
erred.
