Lafferty - you seriously need to take it down a notch
Look man after reading so many of these "carry or ****tard" style
posts I can see how eventually what you are is so loud that no one can hear what you're saying anymore. Hell - even Jabouskey seems reasonable lately at times. At the core 99.9% of people here agree with the conclusion that Lance Armstrong doped and is a pathological liar but arguing every little point and stooping to calling everyone names on an hourly basis just taints the credibility of your view and this message board. So try to be respectful and respond as if you were in the same room as these people and their families. There could be young children in here and we don't need a bunch of ****ing ****s and cocksuckers making the forum look like some whores ass that's just been gang banked in a bukkake video. Thank you. |

The only points of contention regarding LA that the group seems to be
split on are if there's enough evidence to convict him of an actual crime, and if he's convicted, whether it will make any difference in the level of doping in today's pro peloton. Everyone knows LA's a doper, as was everyone on Postal, all the teams Postal competed against, and most (if not all) top-level pros today. Until this confrontation in the restaurant happened, I haven't heard of any testimony or evidence against LA that I think a jury would convict him on. However, if the restaurant incident results in intimidation charges, I suspect LA won't be able to squirm out of it, and would make any other case the govt. brings a lot tougher for LA. Stupid move on LA's part. As for if any conviction will make any difference, the answer has to be "no". As long as doping products that actually improve performance are readily available and can be used with little chance of detection, a significant number of athletes will use them - regardless of the sport. The fact that a big wheel like LA went down for it won't change that. It WILL help out Novitsky's career, however, which is why he went after LA in the first place. |
