Yes, yet another one. Nowhere is safe! It was lucky no cyclists were
in the way. Not much info as yet.

" A locomotive of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway went off the
line at Palmarsh at 2.45pm.".
The incident, on Palmarsh, was the result of a collision between a
light railway train and a chair.

Few details have been released, but it is not thought to have
resulted
in any injuries. The extent of damage is being assessed.

Anyone with information should contact Kent Police on 01622 690 690.

Another case where a helmet would have helped.
I thought seat belts had made them a thing of the past?
Obviously not.

A helmet for the cyclist that wasn't there anyway?

No - one of *these* would have helped the poor car occupant that
banged his bonce in the accident as reported.

Car occupant?

Indeed.

"Four fire engines were sent to the scene and firefighters spent 50
minutes freeing the driver of the Peugeot.

Fire crews reported the man who was trapped had suffered a possible
dislocated shoulder and injuries to his knees and arms.

Two other men in the car were from Hull and aged 35 and 59. One
suffered *head* and chest injuries."

I must admit - you really are getting sadder by the day.

Are you homesick now? Not content with reading newsgroups - you also have to
read the local paper online.

If I had wanted to take the **** and show how daft and sad you were - I could
not have done better myself.

Simple really.
