Default I did my bit to stop these idiots despite Judith's complaints

I used to sent footage of these idiots to the police when I rode along here to work.

QUOTE:
Residents have spoken of their shock after a boy was left with serious life-changing injuries in a hit-and-run in a Hull park.

A nine-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by an off-road motorbike on the Rosmead Street playing field at around noon on Monday (May 25).

A swarm of police cars and ambulances arrived at the scene of the collision where the child was taken to hospital with serious and life-changing injuries.

Humberside Police officers continued to search the surrounding area for the motorcyclist who was reported to have been riding without a helmet or a shirt and left the scene after the collision. A man was later arrested.

People living nearby say there have been persistent problems with nuisance motorbikes in the area.

Kelly Johnson, 36, who lives in Rosmead Street opposite the park, said she heard “screaming” before the police rushed to the other end of the playing fields where the boy was hit.

She said: “I heard some kids screaming and I stood up but thought they were just playing. It was not until one of the ladies with them shouted someone had been hit and then the police sped up to the top.

“With the motorbikes it happens every day. We was there the other night with the dogs and there was motorbikes in the park."

Neighbour Kara Dawson, 23, added she had to “shout at them because they have no consideration”. Kelly continued: “It should have been dealt with years ago. They don’t care at all and they even ride around on the grass.

"When it just happened there was a bike doing wheelies in the street that nearly hit a car.”

Nearby residents who visited the park that day were distressed after hearing the news that a boy had been hit by a motorbike.

One couple, who live in Barnsley Street nearby and brought their two children, aged four and six, to the park said that people have been riding motorbikes on the Rosmead Street playing field for years.

Emily Wright, 24, said: “If that was my children I would have been mortified. This is a really quiet place usually and there is motorbikes and stuff like that but no one has ever hit anybody.”

Her partner, Brendan Dryland, 25, added: “We have lived here for around 12 years and it has been going on since I was 13. It’s not going to stop now, they are still going to be doing it.

“It is because they never get caught. What can we do?” Emily added: “There are no cameras whatsoever around here to stop them.”

Police carried out a huge search of the surrounding area with the help of a police helicopter to locate the rider who fled from the scene.

Shortly after the incident took place Humberside Police confirmed that a 25-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the collision.

Chief Superintendent Darren Downs of Humberside Police said: “Shortly after noon today a 9 year-old boy was struck by a motorcycle that was being ridden along a footpath along the Rosmead playing fields, his injuries are serious and will be life-changing.

“The thoughts of us all are with his family and friends at this very difficult time.

“We have arrested a 25 year-old man and have found and recovered the motorbike we believe was involved in the collision. Our roads policing collision investigation team will be doing all they can to establish what happened and circumstances of the collision. "If anyone that witnessed the incident or saw the motorcycle before or after the collision, that has not already spoken to us, please call our non-emergency number 101 to provide your information.

“Officers will remain in the local area as we continue to take witness accounts and to provide reassurance to residents. He added: “I want to take this opportunity to appeal again to the few young people who take their vehicles off road or ride in an anti-social way, please consider your actions. Riding this way causes frequent issues to local residents and can cause serious injury to you or others.

“We have been working hard recently to tackle the issues of illegal off-road bikes, of motorbike theft and related crimes and the anti-social use of motorcycles. Over 20 motorbikes have recently been seized as we continue Operation Yellowfin to specifically target these problems.

“If you know of where stolen bikes, scooters, mopeds are being stored, either in lockups and garages please let us know. The information you provide could help prevent crime and could prevent someone being seriously injured.”

The moron who caused this poor lad to lose his leg has appeared in court charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving. I wonder if Judith wants him let off as "she" did when I used to report them to the police with footage included. Idiots want locking up.

I see you managed to wait two days this time, before you could no longer resist replying to yourself in order to deny JNugent the last word. A bit sad though, isn’t it? I mean, most of your trolling cyclist supremacist threads don’t even get a bite; you should be more grateful to Mr Jennings.

The other day (I can’t be bothered to find where), you said you’d previously had emails from some surprising posters from this group. I’m thinking Tosspot, Trevor A. Panther...maybe even SquashMe, and Rogers Thorpe and Merriman.

Am I right or am I right? Tell me I got one, at least.

In other words, he is accused of being a fully qualified cyclist (he has
all the qualifications for that).
