Default Stage 14, Ax-3-Domaines. Did I see that aright?

On the climb up to Ax-3-Domaines Basso attacked the group. Then
when they caught him he signaled for somebody to take a turn at
the front. Is that chutzpah?

Which reminds me of stage 13. Chavenal sucks on the pack all day,
blasts past Horner, then immediately demands that Horner take a
pull. What in the bronze hinged gates of hell is going on?

Seriously, will someone explain this to me.

It's quite possible that Basso attacked knowing that at least
Armstrong and maybe Ullrich would make it with him. Wanting to drop
someone and up the stronger guys GC numbers.

So when they were with him he wasn't surprised and thought "ok, we
dropped those guys, now let's work together to put some space in
here".

But I'm sure they were thinking "Hey big boy, you want to turn up the
heat then you pull."

On 16-Jul-2005, smacked up and reeling, Michael Press blindly
formulated
the following incoherence:

On the climb up to Ax-3-Domaines Basso attacked the group. Then
when they caught him he signaled for somebody to take a turn at
the front. Is that chutzpah?

I used to race against a guy who had the annoying habit of getting on your
wheel and then yelling at you to pick it up. Brilliant tactician.
