Germany can cyclists too, why not UK
A German student who was breathalyzed at over three time the German limit
for alcohol has been banned from using a bicycle, skateboard or any other licence-free vehicle on the public roads, for 15 years. Now that is a seriously long ban. http://road.cc/content/news/11644-ge...teboard-either |

The relevance being that it has been claimed that cyclists cannot be banned from the road, since other EU countries can ban them, why can't we introduce it? |

Alcohol is known to lower inhibitions and negatively affect judgement, so I suppose it makes sense to get ****ed and then decide to deck yourself out in lycra and go cycling. |
