Cool source. Unfortunately there's a stiff service charge on the
sample pack. ebay is a good place to find small quantities of some of
these materials. Lots of people buying (or pilfering? nah....)
slicing, dicing, and stuffing into plain brown envelopes these days.

Small change compared to buying the wrong stuff which is easy enough
with samples. I am in there to buy on the way thru finding the company
hires the retarded who support themselves cutting and stapling sample
packs otherwise they'd be out on the streets taking drugs or mugging
microsoft enginneers.
The nylon pack is worthwhile as a continuing resource if making ir
buying nylon equipment tho' off course the pack doesn't reach into the
higher realms where Colorado Cyclist and ilk dwell with ad
nomenclature beyond beyond. But samples will get you thru and do not
need refrigeration.
I enjoy the false belief I'm generating fabrication here but have yet
to see any such - have gone thru Yosemite looking - not even pack mods
with thrift castoffs in pockets and whatnot...
ITS ORTLIEB ORTLIEB ORTLIEB once in a blue moon REI.....
people are.....who uses mega blinkies or reflective zebra striping ?
You would think....riders would be prepared but they are reflectively
not and pack fab is like learning URDU...rather watch the tube.

the underlay mats used here maybe 14 oz not 42 oz as the color is
yellow your choice. 14 oz is for dry bags and sleeping bag undermats/
goretex tops

I've got my saved search on ebay for a "Davidson" my size set up with
"-harley",-so none of the v-twin's-branded ersatz comes through.
Therefore, I don't have floorboards or floor mats or need to put
anything beneath them. If I did, I'd cut a piece of vinyl shower
curtain source from the $ store.
But, thanks. Now I know why bivy sacks are so expensive, but nice to
know a place that tells me how, in 20 hours, I can make my own.

right. but the deal is, more people read this BS than comment on it.
like Ti 650/4's, a sleeping bag outer bag with vinyl bottom Gore top
is not there unless DIY.
watch the details. Shower curtains are not vinyl coated 'mat', only
vinyl.

test your lights and carry spare blinkies before twilight eats your
butt.

Mick Jagger said that !

who ?
