Back Pain
Hello,
I want a road bike, but have been having some lower back pain. Is road cycling usually a good relief for back pain or an aggravator? Thanks, Chas |

Usually because your bike doesn't fit (like mine), or your position is wrong. Go to your LBS and let them take a look, or search google for more info. Jiyang |

Sorta depends on what's causing your back pain. Mine is osteoarthritis-related -- bone spurs in the spine -- and riding my road bikes is the best therapy I've found. My non-expert opinion is that if you get back pain from sitting too long in a chair, sitting upright on a bike will probably not help you. RichC |
