TBH I think this could be quite dangerous. It will have an initial
shock value, and cause people to slow down. However they will soon
become used to it, and used to the image of a child in the road.
When people see a real child in the road, they will be conditioned to
believe it is a picture and drive straight at it. This would really slow
their reactions, and could have exactly the opposite effect of its
intention.
