a fellow local cyclist killed on a straight
country road near Ballina (Nthn NSW)
last night. A couple were riding on a quiet
road alongside the river when the driver
crashed into one of them and left the scene
of the accident. The 30 year old female cyclist
died ten minutes later of head injuries. but
came back alive at the morgue and was taken
via buy air to the hosp. Police arrested the driver
later that afternoon. He had already lost his
licence due to drunk driving.
