Schwinn Impact Bicycle
Answering a wantad, I bought a 26 inch men's bike, Schwinn Impact, for $5. The
ad had said $25 but he wanted to get rid of it, and I'm a cheap jew. Is this bike any good? I have put 20 miles on it, so far, and no problems. It has 18 gears but I can't figure out what the **** that means anyway. So, I just leave it in the gear it came in, and it rides great there. The bike has medium tires: that is, not skinny and not fat-ass tires like a faggit mountain-bike. Somebody told me Schwinn is a puffed-up brand name, that they engineer their **** so that ONLY "Schwinn" parts fit it: tires, seat, etc. I want to eventually get a wide seat for my fat-ass but don't plan on spending more than a buck for it at a yard sale. |
