Default Stabilisers for Adult Bicycle

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea where I might buy some stabilisers for an adult's
bike? Mum is not willing to try learning the balance bit without some
additional reassurance!! She did want a tricycle, but cant see one of them
on a bike rack on the back of a Micra!

Training wheels don't teach a person how to ride a bike, because the way you
steer when actually riding is completely different from the way you steer
when you have training wheels.

Just lower the seat until Mum can put her feet flat on the ground. If
necessary, remove the pedals.

Have her practice "scooting" along on the bike, learning how to use the
brakes, getting comfortable with the feeling. Then she can start lifting her
feet off the ground as she rolls along, secure in the knowledge that she
knows how to stop and she won't fall over because she can still plant her
feet.

I think you can figure it out from there.

I think you should look into a recumbent bike for your Mum. She could put
her feet flat on the pavement when the bike is stopped.
