My old newsreader is not blessed with a spellchecker but if there are
any words you're not sure about then please ask.

Which words you don't understand in those posts?

I don't use a spellchecker - I have a brain which checks it for me.

Let me know if your brain fails to identify which word I meant and I will
tell you.

I have travelled direct to Glasgow from Lime Street (on a railway train)

Have a quick look at

If it's gone by the time you click, just search for Lime Street direct
to Glasgow. It'll all be revealed.

£344 return to sit on a local train that can only use the WCML when InterCity trains don't want it and only once a day.
The Apologists for Bad Driving will tell you it is possible to buy a car at auction and drive for less.

The "local" train to which you refer gets from Liverpool Lime Street to
Glasgow Central, direct, in about three and a half hours.

It is, I suppose, possible to pay £344 return, but the site I cited
advertises one-way fares for as little as £11.

Sure, if you are prepared to travel Motorist Class with the inherent smell and lack of manners. Cyclists have higher standards of personal hygiene and decorum.

You wrote about "Attmpted (SIC) murder". A good lawyer could get you off
such a charge on a technicality since it is spelled incorrectly.

That's pure fantasy on your part. Any judge would permit an amendment for a
clerical error.

If I were you, I wouldn't rely on tv dramas for knowledge about how a court
works. You don't have OCD do you?

Mr George I feel I should advise you where this branch may be going, just as
others have found. See he
