Zebra crossings minimise delay for everyone.

The reason for traffic lights would have been that moronists had a
pattern of not giving way on zebras.

I often walk out onto zebras and encounter drivers who just play a game of chicken with you, often with horns blaring at having the gall to impede their speeding cages.

They still display the same pattern of behaviour, failing to stop their
bicycles at pedestrian crossings (of any sort) and often screaming
obscenities at pedestrians with the temerity to try to cross when and
where they have priority.

But thanks for admitting it.

What a sad response.

The terrible behaviour of typical cyclists in the UK is indeed a very
sad state of affairs. Thanks for agreeing it.

I have seen the occasional cyclist use common sense and go through a
light controlled pedestrian crossing when there no pedestrians to be seen.

I guess the pedestrians had decided to cross before they died from old age.

But thanks for admitting it.

I used to cycle to work at 0530h and saw many cars going through red lights, including those at pelican crossings. Nobody about, you see.

I have asked Nugent several times to meet up so that he can point out at
first hand the many cyclists that are obviously invisible to the rest of
us. Needless to say, he has declined.

Naturally.

Nugent can only see cyclists who are riding in dark clothing at night without lights on unlit streets.
