Last month or so Wal-Mart started keeping chain lube, inner tubes and tires in a locked cabinet like they do ammo.

It's too much trouble to ask for help wearing a mask so don't bother.

Yet another great renaissance for pushbikes which will probably last
as long as the last half dozen revivals - until the first rain.

Or before :-

"Mavic, one of the most famous brands in cycling,.. it has fallen into
receivership."

"Stores Closed
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of every Cycle
Republic store. On the 24th of April 2020, our doors will close for
the final time."

"Multi-million-pound Boardman Performance Centre forced to close less
than two years after opening... Halfords shuts Boardman Performance
Centre “with immediate effect”"

"Cycle Surgery, one of the UK's largest specialist cycling retailers,
is being closed down by its owners...with parent company Outdoor and
Cycle Concepts saying that the business is “unsustainable.” "on April
30th Cycle Surgery indicated to their mailing list that they were
closing down entirely"

Coach company National Holidays collapses into administration.

Coronavirus: Devastation for airlines as UK confirms 14-day quarantine post-travel

The bailout of London's transport network shows we are not all in this together.

Hull Trains could go out of business 'permanently', with loss of 130 jobs, MPs warn.

Coronavirus: UK car sales plunge to lowest level since 1946.

Vauxhall boss says 97% drop in UK sales of new cars is unprecedented.

If you thought March’s new car registration figures were dramatic, dropping almost 45% year on year, wait until you see April’s. Word is that over the course of the first week of the month, there were fewer than 200 cars logged on the books, with some car makers having posted literally nothing, suggesting a market that is at least 95% down year on year.

It looks like this is a victim of some sort of corporate shenanigans.

On the other hand, anybody that bought Halfords shares in the middle of
February is sitting on a 3 fold increase.

Whereas my BP shares have crashed by 50% due to lack of demand for oil as no-one is driving much. At one point they were paying buyers to take oil away due to lack of storage space.
