Ken,

Shorten the shoulder straps about as far as they will go
(Maybe I should have mentioned) and just hang the pack over the seat back
by the shoulder straps

and use the left-over strap
tails to tie together around the seat stays. Works great! (Unless you

have
the seat leaned WAAY-BACK like my son does on his V2, then the bag might

rub
the tire unless you use a rear rack.) I use these packs on my Tailwind

and
Stratus with no problem.
