Default First ride of the new year 2009

To All,

The weather today in Louisville was in the mid 50's so I
decided to test out the new tires and the new hand grips
that I have just put on the Volae Team. I drove the car
with the bicycle on the back to St. Matthews Schwinn to
get the new tires up to full air pressure and then off I went
nto Seneca Park. The total distance was 14.4 miles with
a avg. speed of 14.5 mph. For the route go to this web site:

http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/user/randall52

Hope the winter is not too bad on all the Volae riders as
spring is going to get here and when it does I will be ready
for a good year of riding my Volae around Louisville.

Randy Kehrt
Louisville, KY
USA

Your lucky. I just dusted the spokes off yesterday, but still too cold
for a long ride. Mine was only ten city blocks and back. But I was
able to repeat that twice more, same day, before my fingers froze.

Default Randy Kehrt

Hi all,

I agree with kumkrongdek. I don't think we should support criminal
behavior, wherever we find it. By the way, I found him on mamma.com
and there were references to Maine. Too cold up there for cycling I
think.

Any recumbent riders in the southwest?

Gerry

I found this about Randy Kehrt:

http://www.wlky.com/news/5191206/detail.html

I'm Gerry O'Neill. I live in New Mexico and I'm a new recumbent rider.
I chose to retire early as I was offered a decent pension package for
early retirement. I spend my free time riding and traveling.

The original reason for coming to this group was about maybe getting a
new seat. I find the shape of the seat doesn't fit my contour. I want
to readjust it or get another seat shape if I can.
