Note Neil's 30.3 mph average for the race......"official" enough?

And how often do YOU ride at over 30 mph???????

Mark,

When is not relevant, that's history. See this thread:

http://www.bentrideronline.com/messa...ead.php?t=8590

Note two specific examples of Neil racing the the BHPC series at over 30

mph
for 10 miles.
Another recent event had him lapping the field twice.

Chicago NoCom's run in the 40 mph range for substantial pulls, not just a
momentary top speed sprint.

And finally, my PB for a senior citizen was over 30 mph average for 15

miles.

Please note in each instance, drafting was NOT REQUIRED...........

Ed Gin

That's someone's posting, I'd rather see a few results from official
websites

I never draft either

Though Dave Larrington /is/ the editor of the BHPC newsletter, so I
imagine it will progress to "official" soon.

s/is/was/ However, I /am/ also the BHPC's Keeper ov thee Records, and

race
results may be seen at or near he

17 km at 48.7 km/h on the indoor velodrome in Newport

86 km at 40.6 km/h on the Castle Combe motor racing circuit (on a /very/
windy day)

If one looks at this page

The fabled Nocomm hasn't won anything, I don't debate the fact that it's
fast but it appears it isn't the fastest

I suspect that the classes column is of importance.

Not so. It is fastest in the Unfaired class, and leading that class
in the standings, and not actually far behind gNick's faired "wooden
fish".

God help them if Sacha ever gets his hands on one!

You ride 50 miles everyday? Surely you meant 20 miles.

30 mph is fast if you can keep it there for more than a few minutes. But I
always enjoy hearing how fast some guys are going downhill. I usually meet
them at the bottom later when an ambulance and the police are on the scene
trying to reconstruct what happened. It is always the same - going too fast
for conditions. The only scenario that really interests me is how fast you
can be going uphill on a recumbent.

My God! That is amazing! That must be some kind of record. You make me feel
like a piker as I only do 20 miles a day. But then I am slower than you are
and it would take me damn near all day to ride 50 miles.

Mark,

You are so full of it, first you ask for proof the NoCom is fast.

Now that this thread has clearly shown it in 1st place at several events,
and with predictions IT may be the ideal bike for ultimate speed in the
unfaired class, you've avoided the truth.

Admit it, you are wrong on your assertions.

The NoCom is an excellent choice for the riders seeking the quickest
unfaired bike around, certainly faster than that "old school" Baron you
ride.
