Track worlds is a meaningless competition. it's just another race the
UCI sanctions and people attach all sorts of inflated value to it.
People actually think the "world" championships means you re the
champion of the world...as if the UCI has the right to make that
declaration.

Anybody can sanction a race and call it the world championships. It
means nothing.

Evidently the empty seats proves that point.
