Default Traffic to be banned from accident blackspot after death of Cityworker cyclist

A ban on cars, taxis and lorries is to come into force at one of
London’s most notorious junctions on Monday.

The ground-breaking safety scheme will prohibit all traffic except buses
and bicycles from Bank junction between 7am and 7pm on weekdays.

It is to be trialled by the City of London Corporation for up to 18
months in a bid to make the area safer and greener.

They weren't consulted when they made two streets one way near here. Now people drive twice as far to get to their destination and cause twice the congestion/pollution. Absolute stupidity.

Buses are the most dangerous vehicles on the road, yet they let them continue?!

They're also the most polluting. Most emit black smoke.

I'm always a bit surprised by this. I have used this junction and never
thought of it as particularly dangerous.

Councils are morons. One accident and they think it's dangerous. It's only dangerous for stupid people.
