Default Color Me Green

I have to say that even the assholes here are pretty good guys. I can argue with Duane or Emanuel or (God forbid) even "Ridesalot" without the slightest carry over to anything else. I'm as likely to agree on one subject or another with any one of them. Though I'm probably more likely to agree with the older guys. But as we all know, with age comes wisdom - and more crashes to teach lessons.

Well, you get good judgement from experience, and you
get experience from poor judgement.

OTOH, being young has nothing to do with being
intelligent, and being old has nothing to do with
being wise. Young morons make old morons.

As for me, I got into flame wars some ten years ago in
the computer newsgroups. It was a fraction of all the
conversations, but I thought it should be avoided even
then.

Here God willing it won't happen because tho I've
spent many hours and some money on this project, it is
still a bit of a joke. It is not like computers ten
years ago which was very intense and much more
bad blood to it.

If you think that's bad blood you better stay completely away from the climate change forums. Probably half of them won't even let "deniers" post. They have their own little circles of almost total ignorance of science but they can quote papers like no one's business that they don't even understand.

Ignorance and obsession in the same bed breed self-destructive stupidity.
