Default Cyclist breaks the hip of an OAP and rides away

AN ELDERLY woman suffered a broken hip when she was hit by a bike as she was
walking along a newly opened cycle path in North Yorkshire.

a mountain-bike rider travelling in the same direction collided with the
woman when he tried to pass by. He fell off his bike but then remounted and
continued his journey.
A man in his 50s was traced by officers in the Ripon area on Monday evening
and is helping police with their inquiries."

Got him, I wonder if we will hear the bleating cries that we hear over and
over demanding that errant motorists are severely punished being applied to
this errant cyclist.

We all know that bikes can't hurt people, this woman's hip was probably
already broken.

It was an accident. Nothing is 100% safe.

Not at all,

It's much more likely that he assumed that the courts would commend him
for saving the planet and vote him a monthly sum for life out of public
fuds, but he just didn't want all the fuss.

No, he was concerned the judge would blame him just because he was travelling faster.

Thus he rode away like the cowards that cyclists are.
