Default Anonymous lycra lout in cycle rage attack

The driver was able to brake to avoid the cyclist, but there was then what
police described as "an exchange of words" before the cyclist assaulted the
driver. The driver suffered injuries to their face and neck.

The cyclist is described as male, white, in his 40s, 6ft 2ins and was
wearing black cycling shorts, a black top and a grey helmet. He was riding a
black racing bike with white writing on it.

Officers have appealed for witnesses.

The aggressive ones often seem to be middle-aged on racing bikes. Wearing a
helmet? Doesn't that go against the grain for psycholists?

Yet another compelling argument for bicycle registration.

English bicycles.

No matter who is "in the right" or thinks he has the moral high ground
there is no excuse for physical violence against anybody.

What about as defence if one fears an imminent assault?

"A man in his 20s was driving along Chantry Road in Norwich at about
9.10am yesterday morning when a cyclist crossed his path at the junction
with Chapelfield East".

Cyclist clearly in the wrong, but the driver didn't assault him.

Bicycles are for Children. Like masturbation, something you should grow
out of.
There is something seriously sick and stunted about grown men who want
to ride a bike."

according to the psycholists (in the previous thread about the cyclist that
dragged a woman from her car) the car driver should have dragged the cyclist
from his bike to teach him a lesson and make him be more careful around
cars.
