Not even in the parking lot crits.

Am I the only one that thought this was funny? Because I don't
believe the parking lot crits either!

There's a fine line between a post that everyone acclaims
for pointing out an awesomely funny truth, and a post
that sees no responses because most of RBR has already
reconciled itself to the truth of this awesomely ironic truth.

In other words, right on.

There is an organization that is trying to establish a series
of gran fondos in the US. I can't wait to see what that leads
to.

I have wondered about performance modification in
randonneur and ultra-distance events. There's a whole
category of 100+ and 200+ -mile races-that-aren't-races
that are fertile ground for Animal Kits, if you know what
I mean. I haven't figured out yet whether randonneurs
are too cheap to have caught on to this (beyond the
garden variety speed and derivatives) or too bearded
to be hanging out in gyms and getting hooked up, but
even if so, it is surely only a matter of time.

Since you ask, I think it is funny.
It makes me smile to think about
amateurs riding on dynamite.

believe the parking lot crits either!

I wonder if my HMO can help me out.
