Default Morning ride

Great ride this morning.

Foggy, cold and damp but glorious!

Saw a fox, a couple of badgers and lots of smaller wildlife. 16 miles,
only 2 of which on the roads. No traffic anyway and the trails seemed
to have been swept clean as it was quite windy last night.

Thorpe Marsh Nature Reserve was eerie, looked almost primordial, it's
been left for years and overgrown, with wisps of fog/mist moving about
and the bushes fading into the distance at the waters edges.
Absolutely still, mirror like water, I've never seen it like that
before, extraordinary doesn't convey it and my mobile doesn't have a
camera so I couldn't even try to capture it! Have to remedy that I
think ..
