Called into Aldi at King's Lynn this morning to pick up a jersey & shorts. In
the car park was a fire engine. No fire - the crew were all inside stocking up
on cycling gear :-)

Cheers, helen s

So, does this mean you got an eyeful of a load of hunky firemen trying on
bibshorts?

No bibshorts in this week's offers.

At least none in any East Anglian branches! Aldi might have put up a 50 mile
exclusion zone ;-)

No. I does mean I got an eyeful of hunky firemen though, which of itself made
the visit worthwhile ;-)

Just received a mail from a mate re Aldi (Swindon chapter):

Good grief! They came all the way to Norfolk??? You can tell them it's very
kind of them to allow a middle-aged Norfolk housewife the pleasant sight of
hunky firemen. Much appreciated ;-)

Cheers, helen s

Looks reasonable quality (definitely for this price), but didn't rate
the shorts.

Gotta disagree there - the shorts have that holy grail for female cyclists,
unseamed padding. And they come in very large sizes for fat cyclists like
me.

Have to agree. The Aldi shorts work exceptionally well for this FBOAB as well
:-) The Tchibo shorts are also good Steph - even though they are described as
"men's"
