One thing is for sure, all the kids in your neighborhood will love your veolomobile, the rarest of all cycling contraptions. I think you will find that the complete body faring does not make you much faster. All trikes are slow, but that is OK with me as I am not into speed. I am into all day comfort and trikes are ideal for that. Apparently it is not possible to buy a velomobile for less than $5000. If I could get one for $2000, I might be tempted. Be sure to keep us informed as to how you like your new velomobile. -- Ed Dolan the Great - Minnesota aka Saint Edward the Great - Order of the Perpetual Sorrows - Minnesota |

I like the green color, but would not yellow be seen on the road better? One thing is for sure, all the kids in your neighborhood will love your veolomobile, the rarest of all cycling contraptions. The first batch of 4 imported Rotovelos (Rotoveli?) was yellow, green, blue and purple. When I ordered mine, the yellow had been sold, so I took the green, since they come over on the slow boat from Oz. I think you will find that the complete body faring does not make you much faster. All trikes are slow, but that is OK with me as I am not into speed. I am into all day comfort and trikes are ideal for that. The fairing should keep me relatively warm and dry in less than ideal unfaired cycling weather. Apparently it is not possible to buy a velomobile for less than $5000. If I could get one for $2000, I might be tempted. The only way to get a velomobile for $2K would be to buy a less expensive tadpole trike (e.g. Sun, TerraTrike) and build the fairing yourself. Shipping on mine alone was more than $1K. Be sure to keep us informed as to how you like your new velomobile. Will work on getting the adjustments dialed in over the weekend, then I can do some longer rides. -- Tºm Shermªn - 42.435731,-83.985007 I am a vehicular cyclist. |

I was thinking more along the lines of "Never Before Campaign" stickers: http://neverbeforecamp.wordpress.com/. While I agree with the campaign, such seriousness has no place on a velomobile. You should advertise something that both camps can coalesce around, falafel. |
