Default Brake lits for those that like gadgets :p

Someone is flogging off 500 pairs of brake blocks with integrated LED
lits in them. Not quite sure how how they work.

V BRAKE BRAKE PADS X4 WITH INTEGRATED LED BRAKE LIGHTS!

Disclaimer: I am do not have anything to do with the seller, and I would
not endorse them, or use these brake blocks myself.

If you look at the second pic they look to have big plastic switches on the
block face. That's gotta be noisy and reduce the braking ability. and let's
face it, no one's going to notice these LEDs.

Think I will stick with my coolstops.

You're quite right, each block has a button on the face that switches
the light on when it gets pressed against the rim.

I tried a pair 2 or 3 years ago when Kinetics were selling them off
cheap (considerably cheaper than the guy selling them on eBay). They
were passable blocks, but not great, and the lights weren't particularly
bright (a single LED in each block).

Think I will stick with my coolstops.

Ditto.

As the backs of my rear brake pads normally have a great wedge of
aluminium sludge and road dirt, they would be useless.
