Default Watch out, there's a thief about.

Three onto one again.

"Thieves escaped with hundreds of pounds worth of stolen items after robbing
a cyclist as he rode home last week.
Alex Davies, 40, was cycling along an alleyway near Long Grove Road in Epsom
at about 7.40pm on Tuesday, October 4, when three men blocked his path.

One of the men asked him for the time before demanding all of his
belongings.

Fearing for his safety, Mr Davies handed over his Hugo Boss wris****ch,
Apple iPhone, Blackberry, car keys, Apple iPod Shuffle, various debit and
credit cards plus several items of exercise clothing.

He said: "I just decided I was going to give them what they wanted, not
argue or try to be clever.

"I am recovering well but I am concerned for single ladies or kids out
walking in the same area as Epsom is the kind of place you think you are
safe."

Mr Davies was not injured during the robbery.

The first man was black, 6ft 3inches and wearing a black bomber-style jacket
with the hood up.

The other two men were black, about 5ft 9inches and were both wearing black
bomber-style jackets with the hood up.

One of the men had cornrows.

Mr Davies, according to a friend, was told by police that there had been a
number of similar incidents in Epsom recently, matching the perpetrators
descriptions.

Detective Constable Leigh Wall said: "I am keen to speak to anyone who
witnessed this robbery, especially two joggers who were in the area at the
time, or anyone who was in the recreation ground as you may have vital
information.

"The victim was intimidated by the three suspects and believed they would
hurt him if he did not comply with their demands.

Walkman 64 GB player - 320
Garmin Edge 705 - 300
Exposure Six Pack front light - 400
Light and Motion rear light VIS 180 - 90

1530 quid the lot

Crikey - that's 6 weeks solid work at the minimum wage.

What a ******. Do you think anyone gives two ****s.

What is it about you sad *******s that you think you have to share the details
of your material wealth.

This includes exceeding the speed limit past three schools. A total disregard for the well-being of vulnerable road users.

Jeez .. Blackberry, free on the plan I have at £15 a month, ipod £30
off ebay ..

I doubt most scrotes would bother about lights, or even know what they
cost, so I think they'd be relatively safe, Simon.

I don't take a wallet or money, well an emergency fiver note, but I
have a laminated card with name, postcode, phone No and blood group
(ex-motorcycle racer so know it's sometimes worthwhile!).

Most value I have with me (not intrinsic as such, maybe £400, but
priceless to me) is a gold chain that holds my wedding ring, I would
fight to keep that ...

I don't have a wedding ring, but I do have a Road ID bracelet with my
details on which I wear next to the watch but that would not be worth
anything to the scrotes. I don't usually carry cash, but I do have a
tenner in my wallet now as I will be going to get my hair cut at 0800
tomorrow morning and it is the only place I ever need any folding
stuff these days.

Exciting stuff. Make sure it's not 0758 or 0801.

Get that hairy caterpillar above your upper lip removed while you're there.

I don't have a wedding ring,

I expect it would remind you of the 16 stone sweaty wife too much.

Just as well he didn't try to be clever - he was a bicyclist.
