'Doin it for the kids' Call of the Wall Ride
On 2006-03-28, JayWoo (aka Bruce)
was almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea: a5hi5m Wrote: After a really enjoyable decent, i managed to cop a SIDSY .. guy in a commadore decided to turn left, cutting in front of me just after the roundabout at the bottom of the 1/20. Good to meet up with a fellow BRer on a non BR a5hi5m Crap about the SIDSY, hope your steed in back quickly shiny & new again. After rolling up on my SS and saying 'Morning' to the locals and getting zero response, 'snobs' was my 1st reaction. Things became less cool once 'Happy BRers' turned up You calling us uncool? The Coffee stop was huge, with ppl having to stand due to the numbers & plenty of bike talk going down. Anyone know how much $$ was raised? Still quite efficient service -- was happy with that. They usually have barely enough seats when the usual 15 or so rock up. Go the escargots. -- TimC If you're too open minded, your brains will fall out. --unknown |

T'was funny, Jono and myself drafting a guy doing 60km/h on a SS, not pedalling, and us not really being able to go faster if we were in front. Damn this "gravitationally challenged" business -- TimC A Chemist who falls in acid is absorbed in work. |

JayWoo Wrote: I had fun yo-yo'ing with JonoL while I tried to keep on top of my 70.9GI up The Wall. This is a good way to see what Baw Baw is like without making the trip out there QUOTE] Chuckle, chuckle. I was happy to spin away in my 39x23. I reckon you're a mad man!! Jono -- Jono L |
