I have a seat that is very comfortable for my regular rides, but it too can be a bit of a pain if I just *sit* on when I go for a ride with my slowpoke friends. River Tam, Trash, Firefly For short term comfort getting a saddle that doesn't rub on the inside of your thighs in any position forward or back is the most important. For longer term the back of the saddle has to properly cradle your sit-bones as well. If you have too long a position on the bike your lower back will hurt and in this position you can sometimes drag the inside of your thighs against the wider area of the saddle. |
